The Games Maker Choir help open the Tessa Jowell Boulevard

The Games Maker Choir were proud and honoured to perform at a moving event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 18 May 2019 to celebrate the opening of the new Tessa Jowell Boulevard.

This is a beautiful walkway through the park created to honour Dame Tessa’s vision and determination in organising the bid for London to host the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and their subsequent successful delivery.

Take a walk there some time.

We were honoured too to meet Tessa’s family, the Mayor of London and perform alongside our friends the Pandemonium Drummers.

The pictures are of the plaque now laid in the Park, the choir with Sadiq Khan on Saturday and also from July 2015 when we helped Tessa celebrate the tenth anniversary of London winning the bid for #London2012.    A very special lady, thank you Tessa.
