What a Whizz! With Para Athletic World Champions

Members of the Choir were privileged to entertain the crowds honouring medallists from the World Para Athletics Championships in July 2017.

Taking to the specially constructed stage in the Hero Village of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, the athletes and spectators from all over the world were treated to a rousing performance from the choir.

Our conductor Christopher Killerby had a little competition from ‘guest conductor’, Games Mascot “Whizzbee”,  but held on to the official baton to the delight of the audience – and choir performers too.
