Games Maker Choir sings England ladies hockey team to European victory
The Games Maker Choir were in attendance at yet another great sporting event over the Bank Holiday weekend. They were in great voice at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as they sang the anthems for the final matches of what turned out to be a thrilling conclusion to the EuroHockey 2015 Championships.
The final was broadcast live on the BBC and the choir was shown and heard in full voice. Take a little listen here…..
The choir were invited to perform the German, Spanish, Dutch and English team anthems to a sell out crowd at this great venue.
And it must have done the trick as England rallied from 2-0 down to get to a shoot out which, for once England won! Champions of Europe. Fantastic!
The choir were delighted to have been part of another thrilling international sporting event supporting the best of British sport.
