Performance Announcement! Celebrating some iconic 2022 events

We are excited to announce that The Games Maker Choir will be performing on Sunday 05 June 2022 as some very special major international events combine at an iconic venue.

Featuring the UK Union Flag and the skyline of London's famous attractions, this is the official logo of the Games Maker Choir

Join us at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to help launch the Queen’s Baton Relay as part of the Birmingham 22 Commonwealth Games!

The Baton will spend five days in London, coinciding with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend, celebrating  Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th year as Monarch and Head of the Commonwealth.

What a way to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of  London 2012!

We are honoured to be invited to play our part as these momentous events coincide, and will be singing  in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to help the Queen’s Baton on its journey as it continues throughout the remaining Commonwealth countries, including Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales.

The Queen’s Baton Relay is then set to travel on its final leg the length and breadth of England, before culminating at the Opening Ceremony for Birmingham 2022 on 28 July 2022. Read more about the Baton and the route here.

Thousands of ‘Batonbearers’, each with inspiring backgrounds and stories, have and will have the honour of carrying the Baton during the journey and we can’t wait to help them #PassTheBaton and sing some of them on their merry way.

Follow our social channels on FacebookTwitter and Instagram for more news of this and other performances and events.
