Choir joined by Max Whitlock for the 2016 Medway Sports Awards

Our final performance of 2016  took place in the council offices at Medway which provided a very festive backdrop to celebrate some great local sporting achievements.

The choir performed while guests arrived and enjoyed their pre-dinner drinks and sporting demos from Olympic fencers and double Olympic gold winning athlete Max Whitlock who has since received his own award, an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List.

The event was compered by Eleanor Oldroyd from Radio 5 Live, and after a leisurely dinner the choir performed for a second time during the Awards themselves.

We’ve had some great feedback from the assembled guests who seemed to thoroughly enjoy the choir’s performance and we’re pleased to have been able to support such an inspiring evening.
